Edward L. Sherr
Ed
has been with the firm since 1989 and is currently a Senior Vice President
and Registered Investment Advisor. His primary focus is asset management,
operations, and compliance and has a broad range of experience in trading,
options, NASDAQ market making, and portfolio planning.
He manages investment accounts for individuals, retirement plans, non-profits, trusts and estates. He meets with clients to identify goals, objectives and understand their tolerance for risk. Then a plan is formulated and recommendations are made to reach the clients objectives.
Ed has an extensive background in the regulatory side of the business. He was Chairman of the NASD District 11 Business Conduct Committee which oversees all of New England and parts of New York. He also chaired their nominating committee. He was also a member of the NASD Market Regulation Committee and member of the NASD Consultative Committee.

Ed graduated from Babson College with a B.S. in Business and Investments. He is very active within the community, serving roles as President of the Worcester Jewish Community Center, Master of his Masonic Lodge, and committee member of several finance and endowment committees in the area, such as Congregation Bnai Shalom in Westborough, Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, and the Worcester State College Foundation Board.
